I shut heat down to sleep and if it gets above 90* in here.......the Big Buddy has 18,000btu setting and increases temps in the rig even below zero , cut it back to 9,000btu most of the time . Even in single digit temps , that's enough to maintain temp . The 4,000 setting is only good above 20*.
Also shut it off if I leave or just outside (shoveling) . I figure off about 60% of the time.
20# of propane typically lasts 3-5 days at that rate.
The cab is sealed off so just heating the back 16' or so.
Temps lately have been in teens days and single above/below nights.
Sure do miss my southern travels right about now !
