What is prime shipping?

I have been using Prime when they offer free 30 day use. I always cancel a couple days before the free trial ends. This year I signed up for a month to month deal because I wanted to watch Thursday night NFL and it was only available to a Prime member. So $16 for a month, 4 games, of NFL. Not that bad a deal. NFL Thursday football ended a couple weeks ago so I canceled prime. I just got a email saying I can get a free trial for 30 days if I sign up, lol. I'll pass as I've done most of my shopping for awhile.
I typically keep my cart full of stuff until the next free offer. Been doing this for years now. I think they still offer free shipping, (not Prime) for orders over $35. Don't know for sure.
