I generally don't have issues with Prime shipping...except in Quartzsite.
I have literally heard it referred to as the "Amazon Quartzsite tax".
Flagstaff? Two days. Tulsa? Two days. Top of a mountain in the middle of a forest in a old miner's cabin five miles from the nearest shop? Two days.
Yes the mountain thing is real. I was visiting a friend near Boulder Creek, California (not far from San Jose).
Quartzsite? Week and a half, minimum. Even the estimated time in the listings when you are looking up stuff says about a week and a half.
