So it begins...... Battery spot welder
When I tested the New Puaida ESC, i had to unplug the motor sensor wires, whose connec tor was covered in a type of silicone glue.

Id also found my arctic silver thermal grease did not squeeze out the sides between newly flat heatsink and ESC Underside..
With the sensor wires now able to be reorganized, i returned the 7s battery and enclosure to the skate, and made damn sure the thermal greased flat mating surfaces between heatsink and ESC, were in solid contact. Took it for a spin, and the unsteady throttke and jerky brakes were easily 80% better.

the brakes are still realky strong, and a littke delay before they kick in, but they dont kick in and out and back in like before. It was also a cooler day.
whether the improvement is because there was a poor connection on sensor connectors that reseating them fixed, or the better thermal transfer, or a combination of factors, i know not.

The brakes are regenerative, and the battery's bms might be saying fvck you to a potential over current situation, but that does not explain former unsteady throttle.

Anyway, its much more joyful to ride, but I stilll dont trust it.

I cut off the heatshrink on battery by the bms, and the balance wires were haphazardly stuffed i there, each one a potential dead short.

The main + output of pack is a 0.12, maybe 0.10 nickel platex steel strip with 16awg soldered to it, the sharp edges of nickel strip a few mm away from balance wires.

I.protected these edges and used Kapton tape to immobilize everything.

Kind of torn about this battery.
It.got us to the kayak launch and back today, fulk throttle the wbole way, and no noticeable loss of power that last 1/4 mile.

Before goimg karvkng, i allowed the 29.87v power supply to feed it without xl4015 bucker inline. since i measured 0.4v difference between charge oort i out and battery output, i just let.it feed and disconne ted it when it was accepting 0.2amps.

The balance function might not work.until one cell hits 4.18v, so chargjng to only 4.1vpc could cause imbalanc over time.
It likely only bleeds upto 0.03amps.off tbe highest cell at best, at least thats what the Daly 20amp 10s bms specs.

The future 10s 3 p p42 a pack is getting a smart bms(unknown brand as of yet) so i can observe parallel pack voltages , and change parameters.
