It was way too shallow for a Manatee, and they leave a disinctive wake.
Wasnt that big either.
Maybee a big old catfish.
while it was a fairly windy day, tucked up against the mangroves in the shade, there was no wind, and was super glassy.
I can stand in kayak to get a better view down into water, but the polyp flexes so much underfoot, I want to brace it from bekow, and the paddle ia too short for comfotable stand up paddling.
