The PI type detectors DON'T have any descrimination. Dig it all gets tiring in trashy areas......

Nokta Macro has a new offering (Legend) too that is compared to the Nox a lot.
If it was me , the 800 . (adds gold mode with it's HZ higher than the 600's , very handy looking for nuggies in the SW deserts.) There were a few issues with them but ML is great warranty wise...
IMO you will be fine with any of them.

The extra $ you don't spend on the D2 can buy some nice extras like a 15 or 10x5 coil and/or a nice stainless scoop . Do you have a carrott yet ?
