As I said my title was the reg green one & not a municiput title, didn't say ambulance, said cutaway which if I drive 30 miles south into IN they're all over waiting to be an RV, Ambo, etc. What I'd do if I wanted to buy one & wasn't sure & didn't want to lose it is give the seller $100 deposit & if I couldn't get ins I've lost $100. An ambo IMHO is the safest best built rig on the road. Watch some you tube video on the test they put them thru.
I used to fly antiques & wanted to buy a school bus & couldn't buy insurance on that. I wanted to land the plane on top & take it to AirVenture in Oshkosh a week a year. They claimed a school bus was the most dangerous thing on the road in terms of rollovers. I found a specialty ins co that was over $1500 a year 20 years ago so I passed.
