Can’t answer for America. Or any other province other than BC. Regular insurance so long as your modification doesn’t result in the issue. So you diy propane into your van and it explodes they aren’t paying. But then you’re probably not collecting either.

Sorry we are an international group. Perhaps a few fellow more Yankees will chime in.
