Increasing Capacity and Capability
#17
The spk cabs look like one of my flying stack cabs ! But mini LOL. Trapezoidal is a bitch on the corners but seriously cuts down on interior reflections ( stuff some acoustic insulation in there too !
The port may or may not help but not a lot of difference I'd guess...bass reflex tunes the interior 180* out of phase signal to come out the port 360* to reinforce the front radiation. has to be right ON to achieve that...

What ga wire you using for them?? The bass will be tighter if it's beefy , the cones actually couple to the output transistors to stop the cone when the signal pulse stops. it's called damping. ( the recent craze to mount the amps inside the speaker cab is a good example of one way to do this but heavier ga and shorter wire runs is the key.) I liked to have an amp rack right up against the stack it was powering , which meant MORE amps but I didn't care 'bout that !
LOL Just wanted to punch the audience in the chest on those kik drum hits.....hopefully you're not quite going for that effect skuh kuh kuh kuh.

The battery box ,,well maybe it should be THE BATTERY BOX ! seems quite adequate.
stay tuned
