In the short term not having to be fully charged daily is a advantage of lithium. In the long term you still have to replace the power you take out or just like any other battery, a lithium battery will simply become discharged to the point of not being able to meet your needs. Always be able to replace the power you take out daily and it is not as big of a advantage.
