Works good for me so far. Have not needed 4x4 knock wood. Have 2 vans to choose from for towing. Chevy and Ford 1 ton. A 3/4 ton worked well in the past but the 1 ton have stronger transmission. 
 Just remember the worst for a automatic is excess heat.
