My question is, with a sealed LA or an AGM (cannot use a hydrometer), and without an amps in/amps out meter (the average dweller who just has a multimeter and may or may not have a digital readout solar controller), how are they supposed to be able to keep battery health for either house or starting batteries?
I periodically charge for 24 hours with the 12v auto charger, relying on the (who knows how well calibrated) dial/gauge and the well loved (by SternWake, not) fuzzy green light...
There’s obviously such a thing as “ignorance is bliss” but really, how is the average schmuck to know?
