I would place two big square solar panels inside the front windshield of my Motorhome if I find some panels that fit reasonably well. Maybe I’d get 100 watts or so which would help. I think I’d try a simple strap holding them up for starters.
I’m appreciating more and more what a challenge it is to get much solar on a vehicle. The available technology, prices, and roof layout are still hindering optimal design in a major way. We need 50% efficient panels. I think NASA has them. Are they holding out on us. Oh, here comes a potential conspiracy theory.
