Yep. I hear ya.
I still have offspring at home. A wife still working. I'm a lil older than she so was able to bounce first.
I've been a van guy most of my driving life. Latest is a 2011 Chev Express cargo. Sticks, plywood and plastic cabinets for now. Wired in for solar and shore. No hard lines for water or propane.
I'm not looking to make the interior( too ) livable since I enjoy being out doors. When that's the case, I'd get a towable.
But the van is user friendly and comfy.
