Speaking of beds...
Just finished this crib quilt for a baby boy expected in the next two weeks. I am learning to quilt (this is my third one) and wanted a break from the two big ones I just did. Luckily one of my renters is due. I’ve never ever spoken to her so I’m sure she will be surprised.
My niece said it looks too girly for a boy grrrrr. I thought with the fish, bear, fox and other animals it could go either way. I worked so hard on it and didn’t have a pattern and her comments were a little discouraging.
Then she said it looks like a gay quilt so I asked her what makes her think the baby isn’t gay? Sheesh. Who ever heard of a gay quilt anyway? Better yet, who the hell cares anyway.
