So far, there's been 10 unique donors, and $2089.05 net received.
(The odd number is due to PayPal fees (bank-to-bank "friends & family" is free, but all other transactions have fees)).

Impressive for a completely adhoc campaign, with zero committees!

The total cost of the 2nd breakdown was about $3300 (including 2 tows, 2 motels, and a visit to a different repair shop (in Rhinelander) to fix the ignition timing).
Yes, the labor charge went way over their estimate, as did the time so I had to stay at the 2nd motel 8 days instead of 2.
The first breakdown was about $2600 (they arranged for me to stay free at a local RV park, which saved me around $500).

Those are fairly accurate estimates, however I'll be posting detailed expenses, once I'm in a saner location and have caught up with some volunteer work.

I forgot to put my login credentials somewhere I could get them, and found out after I left the 2nd motel that the Post Office where I'd sent my laptop car charger had returned it. I've been limited to a loaner Chromebook, while I wait for a replacement charger.
Finally emailed a sysadmin friend to see if there was an old backup of my VD credentials, which he set up in an online file for me.

They finished the repair work on March 12, I drove to Rhinelander, engine seemed rougher than I remembered, but it also stayed at the first notch of heat, which was Shiny.
Next morning, warmed up engine, got on road, engine stalled, took several tries to restart, I pulled into the next plaza (huge parking lot), checked oil/etc, nothing looked off (except one thing that turned out to not be an issue). Restarted & drove around big parking lot, it stalled few more times. PM'd Brian, since he's a Dodge Wizard (and often available & always helpful). Discussed symptoms, and he recommended I needed eyes on it, so tried a local shop that turned out to be the best so far.
Ignition timing was off by about 18 to 20 degrees. They fixed it the next day, and I got to the Eau Claire area last Friday, to find out my laptop car charger had been sent back two days before. Grrr!Argh!
Ordered a replacement, and have been camped out at Walmart & Library since then.
Just got a status update that the charger has arrived at the regional PO, so I'm expecting to head South within a couple of days.

I've got a great pic of Fawkes on the 2nd wrecker bed, with lots of snow & ice. I'll post it once I can access my laptop.
When I can afford it, I really should buy a replacement battery for the laptop. It's been frustrating having 200 Watts of solar panels, but no way to use it for my one key use case.
I was pleased that the house batteries & panels are talking to each other (after almost 2 months of mostly very cold weather & much time covered in snow), and all seems fine. I can charge my portable DVD player fine (it came with a car charger), so I started another Firefly slow marathon.
