Aims is not manufacturer so you will likely see the same product under different brands like the inverter charger I recently installed that can also be had as a Renogy as well as a few other brands. I too remember when Aims inverters had a bad rep. I also remember when Tracer was putting MPPT stickers on PWM controllers and Renogy was just a start up along with windynation and Eco-Worthy. Each example has grown and gained a foothold. Only Eco-Worthy and Tracer (epsolar) are manufacturers with others rebranding their products so I guess you have to judge the product on its own merit instead of the brand selling it.
On the surface it has all that we wish for. Temperature compensation, user set points, etc. A remote display would be nice. Price wise it is not a block buster but it is nice to see the line up go up to 100 amps.
