Got a new truck today!

What's worse than having a truck blow an engine at 100k?......buying a brand new one and actually giving Chevy a 2nd chance and having it not start in the morning!! Jumped it and it started right up, but brought it back to the dealership to have it looked at. And on the way there I took the highway and once I hit 65 mph it started vibrating really bad. Actually was the first time I had it on the highway since buying it a few days ago, well first time on the highway free of traffic anyways.

I walked into that dealership this morning yelling, cursing and making a scene I now kind of feel bad about!, I can only imagine they lost a few sales as a result.

All is fixed and ended up not being their fault obviously, they don't actually make the vehicles, just sell them. Battery was defective and one of the rear tires had a few random rows of treads almost 1/4" higher than the others, they shaved it down to make it even, but I ended up putting up another big stink and demanded four new tires and they obliged. Figured if one tire was that much off and they were all made at the same time, how was I to know the other three didn't have another defect that wasn't so easily noticed?

But now it's running extremely smooth, much smoother than I expected a 3/4 ton to ride honestly. If these are the only issues for a good while, i'll be an extremely happy camper.
