These weren’t real easy to do and there was a big learning curve. The magnets were a B**** on the sewing machine. The magnets were from harbor freight. They stick out far enough to make a gap for bugs to sneak in. I think a combo of snaps and magnets. I may rip out the magnets if I can find boat cover type snaps for less than an arm and a leg. I like it that I can leave the flap open and get air and have privacy. I got a roll of fabric at goodwill for $12 and we redid a lot of the van interior. The shades are far from perfect.
