I learn that the best way to do anything is to do it yourself... even if you get it wrong you learn a great deal.
Also, make sure you have good roadside coverage. For a while in 2017 I was basically towed everywhere I went. The tow company told me once...before I set out..just give them a call, they are going to end up taking me there anyway so give them a heads up. GoodSam’s was awful about finding a towing service, but totally great at reimbursement for my out of pocket when I found them. It’s not so much a road side service as a roadside reimbursement plan.
And, finally, verify every detail. My failure to check and double check work could have been fatal.
I planned to launch in June of 2017...I didn’t launch until thanksgiving 2017. Slept on spare sofas, car, cheap motels, etc. made my plans to launch, then when it didn’t happen, I was left beggin a bed and shelter to myself and smidge. Not fun.
So...don’t do this without resources. Knowledge, tools, and the ability to pay for essential work.
