Asking as I was abandoned, before birth. - I too have to remain too silent on forums, tho present family & friends are my family & tribe.
Do you have a family & friends now CosmicVanna ?

You? Silent? That is haha funny for the obvious chatterbox!   Maybe you're silent on certain topics?
 
It is hard to forget and I don't want to, but I hold no grudges or anger. I feel fortunate I was good to go at Age of Reason. I had the typical abandonment issues during the last few teenage years. Having a good foster mum though helped me cope during the hardest years, those I'd titled the Mean Years. Mom was a troubled soul after father was taken.
Mom died at 86 in 2015 after a long illness. It was expected so was easier to let Mom go. I have good family connections and a few close lifelong friends, many friendly acquaintances. 
I enjoy people and look forward to meeting you all. Someday!
