I got the Fantastic Vent Fan because I liked the abilty to install the vent cover as integral to the fan installation. Whatever fan you purchase, if you can possibly fit it, please install a cover on it. The ability to leave the vent open and/or running in the pouring rain is wonderful.

I think the Maxxair fans use less energy. Though I have enough to spare that it's not a problem for me.
