I got the Maxx because the hood makes it rain resistant while driving.  The Fantastic can be covered by a Camco cover to get a similar function.  The Fantastic with Camco is bigger so I got the Maxx.  

I got the Maxx with the manual lid and 10 speed non remote fan.  The remote control requires the electric open/close.  I thought that might be more trouble than I wanted.
