Leer and ARE can color match your paint...of course that will cost extra. Or a standard black color might look good on your truck.
And yes, you can have them clamped OR bolted down.
If you need maximum space go with a high rise, either fiberglass or commercial aluminum.
I just bought an ARE high-rise commercial topper for my 8 foot bed...its very roomy...it has more usable room inside than my van did....hard to believe but it's true.
The commercial ones from ARE are available in a variety of heights, with slope or square or wedge shapes, and interior framing which is VERY nice when it comes to hanging and mounting cabinets and shelves inside, and running wiring.
You can also add a variety of racks on top, I chose the simple ladder rack for mounting solar panels.
