It Cost How Much???

I have a friend who was a sales rep for a big Pharma company.  When he explained what his job entailed I thought it was just about the most Amoral thing I ever heard.  Basicaly the docs get kickbacks from big pharma for every precription they write, and the sales reps also push the docs to precribe meds for things which the meds are not even designed to treat.

I once saw my sisters doc pro bono, and walked out of there with prescriptions for 12 different things, several of which were pulled off the market not long after.  I only filled two of them at the time and now take nothing.

My friend whose income comes from big pharma, was and is making good money, but I have developed a seething comtempt for the whole medical industry, but I have lots of seething contempt for many aspects of the way things are, but mostly amoral dishonesty is  sought merely for  maximum profit.

 I've studied and researched those things in particular, and have come up with the same thoughts on this subject as you. I once watched a video of one of the big pharma reps that finally got a guilty conscience and let it all out of the bag. I'm sure her video has been quashed by now, but I got the message loud and clear. That, and a small number of friends put me on track to investigating the poisons they are pedaling.
