Overall a positive article, Vancouver Island is rainy as heck, and Tofino even more so. The “vibe” there is nice.
Lots of itenerant Quebecers go through the Okanagn Valley in BC and pick fruit, it’s been going on for generations of them.
Canada is more accepting of van dwellers, but their vehicle inspection requirements are stiffer than most anywhere in the states. You won’t usually see rustbuckets up there, they get pulled off the road.
