Code name “Baby”
Bust out the torque wrench again. does it click instantly or require 1/4 turn or more?

My pan bolts were self loosening. I had to completely clean the threads and use some locktite.
I alao have one striooed bolt receptacle,6 and retapoed for next size up

I went over it to 0.5 lbs more than spec..
..went around 3x.. lol
It was 'dry' for about 24 hours.. then began seeping past the gasket in a few spots..
So I will get some of the Permatex Atx gasket stuff and drop/clean/polish/apply/replace....

And I plan on busting out the solvent and qtips on this next go round.. and probably apply a light thread locker as well...

Is there a chance you are overfilling the TX?

It is supposed to be checked in neutral, Idling, after cycling through the 3 gears, when warm.

I guess it would read high if checked in park though.
nevermind

When you pull the pan with TX Dipstick fully seated, does it stick down where the hatch marks would be roughly equal with the bottom of the TX housing?

I had a leaking O ring where the TX dipstick tube entered the TX, It made it look like a pan leak.

Yep- checking after gear-run and while warm/hot I try to keep her in the hatches.. stick hits about where it should..
yeah.. I have a slight tube ring leak.. and have tried to replace rings several times.. sigh.... even sprung for the proper brown ones that won't degrade in tx fluid... sigh

gonna have to wait for time/weather/motivation/money to Again drop the pan and try resealing with Permatex... just for process of elimination... sigh
