Parts Yard donor graciously gave up both main barn door seals (side and rear), headlight assemblies (better than mine.. ) side barn door actuator (and all the rods and plastic retainers INTACT!), and some other little fiddly bits. And they allow return if headlights or actuator are non-op or break. Yay
I know what I’m doing this weekend..

WTG , you scored big time ! Sounds like a good place too' Give 'em a plug on the new thread I just started !
The old gasket is still good for patching any future damage. Save at least some of it. It doesn't weigh or take up much space.
You're def collecting some skills along the way to your endless road trip.......
stay tuned

Also got the side barn door to open from the inside now.. yay
Some half-assed mechanic disabled part of the mechanism..
Power lock system still doesn’t work, and the cylinder is stiff and unhappy..
Both external manual locks are gooey/clunky on that side of the van..
Guess I need to be a locksmith too now.. lol

It never gets to the point of nothing left to do. Even if it's a new rig.
