The damn tapatalk popup.

I dont want tapatalk.

I.dont want.to have to tap cancel, every damn visit.

It.popped up under my descending finger the other day, and then my phone froze up and just held power.button down while.violently cursing.

A few times.the pop up came up, and there was no cancel option, just install.
 Could not bypass, so  I just closed browser. Then same when i opened browser,.so.i.closed.window, clesred cache, history thennbrowser andni have more than enough reasons to curse and throw things, i dont want this freaking tapatalk popup in my life, or on my screen, daily, filling me.with the white hot hatred of.a.thousand suns.

If i ever meet this tap a talk pop up in a dark alley, it will be kicked in the groin, until dead.

The tapatalk plugin this forum has installed (from a long time ago) no longer exists so I'm not having much luck finding information. The lack of current support may be part of the problem. I've been through all the options that can be changed, and unfortunately that's not one of the options. I have found a recommended line of code to remove to try and fix the problem, the problem is that I have no clue how to find the right file to edit the code (there are possibly hundreds of files and many directories of files that make up this forum). I'll keep digging around to see if I can locate it.

I'd like to know who uses tapatalk currently to view/post to the forum? Camilla does I know.

Who doesn't use tapatalk and is getting this popup? I don't use it, but don't get the popup while using safari or chrome--I have an iphone.

Any additional information might help me find the problem. Thanks.

I don't use Tapatalk, tried it a long time ago, and found it very limited compared to using a full browser on a laptop.

I have popup blocking enabled in my browser.

I use it but don’t have any issues with pop up. I just scroll past. If it’s a major PIA I’d just subscribe for the pennys they want.

I use tapatalk too and have for years. The popups are scrolled past and ignored. Paying for a free app.

Sternwake, I'm still digging for information on how/where to possibly fix the forced install/popup issue.

Glad it has backed down some for you.
We have a small group here so the security issue should (hopefully) be minimal.
Cross that bridge when/if it comes up.
(The upcoming purge should reduce security issues too.)
Kyz is going to try out some other software plug ins after the holidays.
We're leaving it the way it is for now.
If something better is found we'll let everybody give feedback before switching over.
If anybody using tapatalk could let us know your experience with it we'd appreciate it
