There is a breakthrough in solar production. A new type of Chrystal is in development that can be printed on just a roll of plastic meaning a truly flexible panel. It can even be printed on top of an existing solar panels just about doubling the output. This can be accomplished at lower temperatures than silicone.

Exciting news.

panels havent been the issue for awhile now,storage/batteries are a major issue, well, far behind clouds/lack of sun,up here in the n.w. solar is no more than an accessory,no way can you survive on it,even with my minimalist energy need there was no way i could just use solar, alternator, generator and converter all employed, the land of uv index 1
