just because you can doesn't mean you should

have trailer makers upgraded to the 20th century and use disk brakes?

Some are using disc brakes. I like surge brakes & seems like disc would work well.

This is a professional set up and not a shade tree hack.

I was impressed.

100 miles then recharge for an hour. 100 miles then recharge for an hour. 100 miles then recharge for an hour.

Sounds like a bad plan out here in the sticks where the superchargers are 250 miles apart...or more.

Not to mention an expensive battery that will wear out much sooner then normal.

Nah, wouldn't touch that setup with a 39 1/2 ft pole for me.
3 Stinkin' Badges, YARC, 3 Cat Ass Trophies , ROOIRIA Wannabe,(never happen) and still a Bisquit cause me soggy!

Cover the trailer with panels. Then charge as you drive. Might get 120 then charge...

But if they are go someplace and stay a couple of weeks. Could recharge the battery at a low C continuous rate and use power while parked. Then be ready to go 100 miles to a new spot. Park for two repeat as required.

Had to explore were horses could find water in the old days. Or in Europe most inns are a days walk apart, same idea. Still not there yet but pioneers are pioneers and I respect the effort.

Better than yanking a Black Series into the desert with a Ram TRX and running out of gas for that 700hp monster. You ain’t making 92 octane fuel in the desert. Unless you’re going to run distilled Mescal!!

Perhaps a power wall battery?
