Don't you have one of those monitor things on the wall you can watch when you plug something in? hehehe I don't but you might. Those are helpful.

I had a friend who had one, loved watching as it barely moved when she would turn on the fan, juicer, plug in the computer ... I've no idea what I can run at one time. I figure it the inverter doesn't make a funny noise or a breaker pop ... well, the breaker popped and the last person who (not me) fixed it-ran it direct. Now I am more cautious about what I run at one time.

Don't make a problem that isn't there. Advice I need to take. But as I am currently not using it; it is all yours.

We are busy every day still. Need to test our batteries to check their health. I have my suspicions about them.

So push the button and see what happens. You can pay a shop to load test them but load testing deep cycles isn't all that accurate and can actually be damaging to them. You are better off running the furnace over night and seeing what happens to the voltage before the sun comes up.

Another simple test is use the microwave after dark. 800 Ah of batteries should stay up in the 12's if good.

My batteries are old and getting weak. It was 18 degrees last night and the furnace barely shut off before firing up again. I was thrilled to see the batteries were above 12.2v this morning. Thank goodness I had the sense to have the propane filled before I took off yesterday. I am amazed that one 20 pounder got me through the night running both the furnace and the hot water heater making sure that it did not freeze.
