Interesting article that portrays Bob and Carolyn as saviors. I will admit that I first became interested in the life style through some of his videos.
The Captain and Crew Finally got their stuff together.
Now if they can only remember where they put it.   Rolleyes

I chose this lifestyle in 1981 , think Bob still had a day job back then...
Then he discovered how I lived and ,,,,well , ya know what happened after that.

Personally , I help anyone that is doing the lifestyle and needs help
BUT
I don't make it a habit of inducting people into the lifestyle.

The old show biz saying is " there is no such thing as bad publicity".
There IS such a thing as bad publicity in vandwelling.
stay tuned
  Cool

To be honest, the mythos and indoctrination of "devotee's" for Bob and now Carolyn has me rethinking fulltime life on the road; ... I'm starting to lean back toward spending the majority of my time on a small, remote piece of land somewhere.  Helping, inspiring, and encouraging people already (or almost) on the road is one thing; the developing 'cult' of CheapRVLiving is quite another ...

I will just say one thing. This is the first time that I have ever heard anyone describe a modified sine wave inverter as being 100% clean.

Even though the lifestyle has been going on for as long as man has been around, RVBob and Caroline haved saved the world.
Compared to parenting, Cat herding is less complicated

I still have no idea who this Carolyn is...and I was on CRVL for a little while.
Not that I really care, but just stating that fact.

I still wish I could be free as you guys.

Tempted to start the thread over there myself to watch the worship (and 'fertilizer' build up) to amuse myself; ... but that would just stroke their egos, so no
