We lost Jas today, to the ugly cancer.
We chose that, because he is such a goodest dog, he would not suffer a rapid and systemic decline.
Our vet was amazing and respectful and kind.
I will post a few nice pics later- when I can.
My body is a temple- Ancient and crumbling,
probably cursed
So sorry. It's really tough to lose a pet...I'm dealing with a sick cat right now and it's just not right that these innocent little fuzzballs of love have to go thru any pain.
Not right and not fair.
But they do us humans a lot of good and then when that job is done they move along to the next thing...whatever that may be.
Hoping that time will help heal the hurt.

plus remember the key to it all is knowing you gave an animal the best life while so many animals never ever get that so the condolence on it all, even tho losing a family member and friend to you to your core is that you did the best ya ever did for a pet that will always, usually have a shorter term life than a human so...............when I had to put down my old age horses I always said, to Willy my best of the best horse friend of all time ---that he lived 30 yrs of the best darn life a horse and connection a horse and human could ever have so you know, it was the best time for that 'yote as he gave you the best of him also
I have to keep it that way since I am an animal lover to the ultimate in pets we have but I am also a livesstock farmer in that I gave all a wonderful life on their terms til harvests came but in the end, we chat family soul mate pet we have to remember what we truly gave them at our terms on what our lives are ya know.
ok big chat on animals in life but how we cope as we move thru life with animals in our lives.
just jawin' it out as I need to jaw it out for me with my life so animal entangled!
