what the... nutty controller
#1
I think I need to call the manufacturer of my controller (BlueSky)

The last few days, it has decided (without adjustment from moi) to, every few seconds, switch in/out of "Aux Charge" mode..
I looked it up in the manual and it thinks it is charging an auxiliary battery.. (which it doesn't have)
I just have 2 12v linked together..

And the setting- in the controller.. doesn't seem to set anything... and the instructions are not much help.. "this is where you set auxilary battery charging."  gee thanks..

The link provided is to the IPN pro remote battery monitor, Which Blue Sky Solar controller do you actually have?

I've been using the blue sky SB2512i and the IPN pro remote since october of '07.

When i had questions in the beginning, they responded to E mails quickly.

The only issues i had with my IPN pro remote where when the twisted pair wires from the shunt backed out of the terminals on the remote, and I was getting crazy negative amperage readings.

I don't think it would do harm to leave it connected.  If I remember correctly that feature only comes on during Float anyhow.

So you can set it from ON to OFF and back in the IPN-ProRemote with no effect? (page 7 of the linked manual).  Have you tried setting it to OFF and rebooting the device[s]?

How about the LOAD vs AUX CHARGE setting in the actual charge controller? (referenced on that same page 7)
