“High rents force some in Silicon Valley to live in vehicles” is the title.
Kinda addresses issues that some of us face.
Balanced.
One statement near the beginning was that rents went up 54% in a year to over 4K for an apartment...

Silicon Valley was where I spent seven months living in my van, mostly at the fairgrounds. That area used to have some of the richest soil in CA, I think I read that it was something like 45 ft deep. So, naturally, they paved over it.
The last person I knew there told me a couple of years ago that many of the houses don't have lawns anymore, they simply pave it so seven or eight cars can park off the street. Three or four couples living in one house.
