Ridgid drill/driver kit with 2, 2.0AH batteries

Thanks for the tip Stern. That battery charger shelf looks fantastic. What did you use to stick them up there? I don’t even know how many batteries we have and it would be great to have something like that.

Looks like there are many different designs available to store Ryobi batteries on wall or shelf.

https://www.google.com/search?q=ryobi+battery+holder&client=ms-android-samsung-gj-rev1&ei=PeSeZISfMLSvqtsP5OKU-Ak&oq=ryobi+battery+holder&gs_lcp=ChNtb2JpbGUtZ3dzLXdpei1zZXJwEAMyBQgAEIAEMgUIABCABDIFCAAQgAQyBQgAEIAEMgYIABAHEB4yBggAEAcQHjIGCAAQBxAeMgYIABAHEB46CggAEEcQ1gQQsAM6BwgAEA0QgAQ6CAgAEAgQHhANOggIABCKBRCGAzoJCAAQDRCABBAKOgUIABCiBDoICAAQiQUQogQ6CAgAEAUQHhANSgQIQRgAUIIyWOxmYK9yaAJwAXgAgAGLAYgBtgiSAQMwLjmYAQCgAQHAAQHIAQg&sclient=mobile-gws-wiz-serp

My makita and ridgid holders have 4 recessed screw holes. I used 2 screws each.

I saw a Dewalt battery hanger/holder, 2 for 5$ on e bay so i ordered them.
What showed up was a single 'power wheels adapter' , which of course can be used as a holder/hanger/mount.

The provided 14 awg leads are long and appear to be crimped. Ive not opened it up yet.

I dont really need another portable battery with Anderson powerpoles, so might just remove the electrics. Or just wire nut the end of the red cable to prevent accidental shorts, and screw it to my battery shelf for use as a hanger next to makita and ridgid batteries.

Just got some bar and chain oil for new unused pole saw today, but was too freaking hot outside to deal with pruning.

So i messaged seller of Dewalt battery holder/hanger about the mix up, saying I'm cool with it, they might just wanna change product description.

Instantly messaged back.... sorry my mistake keep it ill send what you ordered tomorrow.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/294904139845.

So i tried to open up cover housing the quick connect spade terminals.
Kind of mangled it, it was so tight a fit, and just put it back together.
Ordered more overpriced yellow APP housings.

The dewalt 4.0 battery with' power wheels adapter' installed, is the most compact 4.0 battery compared to ridgid and ryobi and makita, not that i have one for ryobi. The ryobi is just fatter in each dimension and has that protruding neck as well.

Used the polesaw with both extensions.

Cut the dead limbs quite quietly, and quickly.

The shaft flex at 10' extension s a bit more than id prefer, at ~45 degrees, but for first time use of such a device, i was impressed, and glad someone experienced with it was not observing, as far as i know.

For the next hour and 34 ish minutes. 1:26am est.

2 4.0 ah ridgid batteries charger and bag, 79.99$

https://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGID-18V-L.../314857616

Im torn..i want, i dont need.
I can justify.... but
Who cant?

Kind of need another 21.37vdc 40 watt wall wart, more than the additional battery capacity

Its the best cordless powertool battery deal out there.
Jump if you can, and need.
Tick tick

Remember, battery adapters are ~ 20$

Thankfully, they were sold out when  I decided to perhaps  consider  contemplating the acquisition of 2 more.

The dewalt battery holders arrived, but are not yet attached to my shelf.

The power wheels adapter for the Dewalt, got a pair of 45 amp Anderson PowerPoles tonight.

Since i could not really access the spade terminals properly, i put one APP on the end, then stripped some wire a few inches away, folded it in half, then added another APP, on the nice flexible 14 awg it came with.  There is room for a third.

So heres Dewalt Ridgid, and Makita 4.0 ah battery with power wheel adapters installed, side by side.

The makita  adapter, had room for the red voltmeter.
I could likely fit same v meter, in the others.
But its too much work, not enough reward or necessity.
