Seeking Daily Text/Chat
#1
Hi All,
Being new to living in semi-isolation (eg RV in remote area), I'd like to connect with others who would like to share an occasional "Text" (eg Phone Text) whenever the occasion merits.

I do such Texting with other people I have met in-person and on the road, and it's been quite rewarding in terms knowing that "there is always someone there" to share a neat moment with, or have a shoulder to cry on; whatever.

Am not wanting to blow up anyone's phone; just exchange the occasional "Hi how are you doing?", etc.

If interested, then PM me for exchange of phone numbers and go from here.

Cheers,
Alex

I think you might find the entire forum fills that role nicely.

Once people here get to know ya , the texts will come....

Get tapatalk. Makes logging in instant. I personally am very strict on my time spent online. If my phone beeps I tend to want to look at it. This stimulus is pre-wired after years of this constant connection expectation. It’s a leash and I share only with select friends that I don’t mind holding my leash. Even those may have to wait 24 hours without an answer. Lol.

I get what you’re trying to do and it may be a good idea for some but don’t take the hesitation personally. You seem like a cool sort and I, for one, will be glad to get to know you. But, I personally am 12 hours time difference from the west coast so...you’d be sleeping as I be typing.

One thing you might want to do is set up a twitter account....you can actually set your account to allow you to text your tweets to it, so you dont have to have data service, 'per se'....

People can follow you and sometimes you can end up conversing with strangers...and nobody has to compromise their phone numbers.

I used to be fairly active on twitter when I was traveling. It allowed me to share photos and thoughts with lots of 'followers'...
