So what bypass are you replacing?

What??

Talking about bypassing the factory ground and replacing with a spliced in frame ground… for the rear turn signals

In every build, I would put in several additional grounds.  I never understood the thinking about saving $1.50 in hardware and having to track down the one hidden connection for the ground.

I used to do the same in all car audio builds. If amps were in the trunk or back seats or rear roof. Take an 8 or 10 gauge cable from front ground and go back to rear ground. Make a rear grounding point and then run up to amps. Check impedance values and if within a bit call it done. Doubt wiring for lights need close values. But to fix the nasty ground loop interference it should be pretty close.

I figure use as-gauged or better, splice in and metal to metal at frame.. both sides.
That should do
Also should be getting my fridge board by this weekend. I hope
Shipping has been…spotty lately.
I know- pkgs sent at place of my employment have gotten stuck at distribution points for days..
