I am showing them the way of my people
#1
I am in the PG&E power outage and everyone is crying about no power for three to five days in NorCal. I’m just moochdocking in the middle of it all with solar! We know how to do this, apparently no one here has a clue.

I’ve set up a charging station for electronics and have my son’s frig running off my generator. We have hot water and hot showers in my travel trailer. We will be styling as all of Humboldt is crying......

Yep.  Although I'm in a NorCal Bay Area area not affected from this first round of PG&E shenanigans , I have enough arrows in my quiver to remain calm for when they do their thing to me.
Peace,

Few years back there was a power outage in San Diego. I was like Where TF did my Wifi signal go? Then I saw no WIFI signals anywhere, then opened a door and no lights anywhere, and neighbors were like how much room you got in your fridge?

Was a huge barbeque that night, and while 'they' said dont expect power before midday tomorrow, power apparently came back on at 4 in the morning. I was kind of pissed off it did.

Very very cool Smile
We use the rv also in times of outage right in the driveway if needed! I love having a genny onboard our toyhauler.
I have to say a 'self contained' living unit is a sweet thing to have!

The U.S. power grid is said to be in poor shape, from coast to coast, so the power outages may continue. Any way you can make yourself more self-sufficient will be a good idea. Refrigeration of medical supplies (like insulin) could be a lifesaver.
