Blanch, can you just travel with the pictures of the little dresses or do the dresses mean something more?

I have an oil painting that was my mother’s birth present from her great grandmother. She painted it in 1890s but gifted to Mom in 1924. I really don’t know what to do with it. It has been restored but has no monetary value. The grandmother was not famous. It still is a nice piece. I don’t plan to travel with it.

I really don’t know what to do with them. I’m planning on emptying the storage unit sometime this year (fingers crossed). Maybe burn them and travel with the picture of them. I just don’t know. They were in my closet when I was a kid, I hadn’t seen the dresses in over 40 years. Then my sister gave them to me. Hell if I know what to do, but I have plenty of time to consider it. Having a picture instead may be a great idea, I’ll ponder it for a while. Thanks.

Save them for me this winter and I’ll work on something. We can find a nice design you like.

Those dress won’t make a very good quilt. The fabric is way to delicate. Maybe make some kind of a picture frame or trim pieces using dress detail pieces for the photos.

Hmm, that is a great question. There are so many oddities in the Ambo. But I would say the pair of scuba fins I haven’t used in almost 20 years, an external control box for a crane I no longer own, or the collection of Baloo figures...

Here is one on top of my tv.
