At this point I don’t care if the plumber isn’t good looking as long as he can make the shut off valve work properly - a waterfalls under the bathroom sink is sssssoooooo not my idea of adventure.
I'm not lost. I'm exploring.

Gonna need to shut off the main for that fix. I had a shut off valve under a sink go bonkers on me and the house didn't have a main shut off valve. I took a shower that day trying to fix it. Got it fixed and waterlogged at the same time.

I had a house with a shutoff valve in the garage and was obstructed with too many boxes in the way. I just shut the house off at the meter by the street.
