Eureka Ca. Conti Automotive
#1
This place was great! They didn’t charge a fee to look at my truck, had all the work done in two days, and they were absolutely honest. $99 an hour is the shop rate. This is a small two man shop running out of a gas station.

The previous shop (Antich Automotive) told me I had a blown head gasket and wanted to put in a new engine. I am so glad I got a second opinion from Conti. They got my rig running smoothly for less than a grand. They did not find a blown head gasket or say I needed a new engine. They said my engine was fine and I’ll get some more use out of her. The problem, besides my need for a new starter, was a clogged throttle body, not a leaking head gasket or blown engine.

Honest places seem harder and harder to find. I’ll use this shop again. These people were honest, professional and helpful. Five stars for Conti.

Great Blanch! Now if you just don’t drive like Mario Andretti everywhere you go you might not beat that truck to death

Here's Blanch leaving YARC camp, going on a grocery run:

OK Blanch, just remember that you are here to slow down.

That is what I keep telling myself.   Big Grin

That video is of me slowing down. Play it at 2X speed to see how I used to drive.

All my hardcore speeding was done on the 605 freeway. LA baby. Drive it like you can afford the insurance!
