LOL!
Seriously, try it with whole grain pasta, as a post-fast reward. Smile
It still tastes great, yet is healthier & better weight-wise.

In the first couple of years after my devastating/TBI car accident, I gained more than 30 pounds, for the first time in my life, and couldn't get rid of it.
Then HotPockets came out with some whole grain varieties, and for ~3 months I ate one for Breakfast, with a can of diet Code Red.
Had house&dogs-sat just before & after the 3 month period, and weighed myself each time. Lost 20 pounds. Smile
During that period, I was less active than "normal", because my Brain was starting to get back its Coding Mojo. I made no other dietary changes.
Whole grains rule! Smile

P.S. Popeye, never say that in Wisconsin.
You definitely ain't right. Wink

I don;t think there is any cheese in mac and cheese, just a lot of chemicals but I must admit even if I rarely eat cheese, I do have a soft spot for a box of mac and cheese ( I know better then to read the ingredients,) the way I try to make it into a healthier meal is I boil it up, just water no milk, I mix in the yellow tasty stuff whatever that is, then I cut up tomatoes, green onions, and throw them in with the cooked mix, a bit of butter if I have it or olive oil if I don;t have butter. A sprinkle of Tabasco, I view mac and cheese as a comfort food like potato chips, once in while even if I know it is not healthy I sometimes need it. I always like it when I am eating it but rarely feel good 15 minutes after eating it. I usually buy a couple of boxes a year.

Flying kurbmaster:
I commend your food hacking efforts and agree with you about standard boxed mac&cheese.

That's why I posted the potentially-healthy "from scratch" version.
It's also insanely easy. Smile

Would someone please make it, with or without hacks, and post a review? Smile
