Ok I give up...

So all you need for food is a big box of this, some water and some soybean oil and you can live healthy forever.

Awww, come on now, eating great and all the great recipes and flavors is one of the best parts of vandwelling, not to mention cooking over a campfire when you can.

I'm not actually a big eater, but my tastebuds like a lot of variety.

I'm with ya Dan. I love to cook and especially love cooking outside. Probably a throwback to my boy scout years. The powdered milk and eggs were just something to save fridge space and they can be made acceptable in most instances. Over easy is not one of them. Gruel and chow are just... well probably gross to put it politely. When I lived in my little Scotty and in the big truck I cooked meals like I was in a big kitchen. My Creole pork sirloins are to die for. If I ever get back out there it's a given that I'll have a fully equipped kitchen but for now it is just a wish and a dream. This pending move to Australia has put a damper in my vehicle dwelling future.

Anything that comes in a powdered form and claims to be nutrient dense or nutritious is a lie , first thing the vitamins that are incorporated into these meals are fortified vitamins which are not synthesized nor utilized by the human body and therefor rendered useless. If a person had to live on these packaged powdered foods for a year and then have blood tests done then they would find out that they were nutrient deficient and starving though their appearance might look deceiving. A good example of this is a girl who only consumed ramen noodles for years as her mainstay food diet even though the noodles had no nutrients to speak of her body still suffered. http://www.nydailynews.com/life-style/he...-1.1312782 Another instance where a liquid product is touted as healthy and nutritious is the Ensure brand name. everyone was touting it to be a miracle drink in a bottle that provided everyone their daily vitamins, minerals and nutrients in a low cost convenient bottle which is given routinely to hospice and hospital patients alike https://juicing-for-health.com/truth-abo...ion-drinks

Isn’t beer a liquid food thats touted as being healthy? Or was it “less filling”?

^^^^ Pours powdered milk, egg, and chow powder into large beer stein.

Adds powdered beer.

Adds water.

Shakes vigorously.

Sips foam.

Yuck!

Pours frothy mess on campfire coals at 01:30 AM.

Crawls into bed.

Dodgy
