LOL!

I never pooped in the bucket. I got one of those hassock styles. They suck as they move while you're sitting down. Bullfrogging yourself with sharp plastic is a special place in hell.

For the ladies: Bullfrogging is when testicles swing under the seat and you sit on them. Now imagine the frog calling a mate. Yes, be thankful when you bemoan not being able to write your name in the snow.

My badge is so full of perforations it looks like a Tetley Tea Bag! (see what I did there?)

Hey John. So what did you think of Redemption's Bullet?

I almost got arrested once for my name being written in the snow. They determined it was my urine but wasn't my hand writing. We were pretty drunk and she giggled the whole time.

So how much water does it use? I let Wes in Colorado (crave) use my solar system to run his at the Colorado get together. He used it once and was ready to get rid of it because of how much water it used and the expense of getting more. He also had no tanks so the water was just released making a mess around his cargo trailer.

That was Jefferson Colorado where fresh water and dump was in Fairplay 24 miles away and not cheap. In Ehrenberg it's $13 to dump and fill at the laundry. A few places like Bishop, Ca, Hurricane, Utah or rest stops in Washington it has been free. In those places I would drive into town. Dump and fill when I got there. Have a nice shower, bathe Max, restock and then dump/fill on my way back out. So the expense is related to where you are I guess.

Not that I am saying a laundromat is cheaper by any means or in some cases even better. I could buy the machine for what it cost to do laundry near Klammath falls and the machines on main street in Quartzsite had such a short cycle that all they did was set the stains and ruin the clothes. I do admit that getting a months worth of laundry done in short order sure is nice.

The last thing is where to keep it. I seriously need to do a purge on both the truck and the trailer.

I use about six gallons for a wash and rinse. One blue plastic can worth. This is great if water is easily available and free. I have spots where I never use it and spots where I use it exclusively.

I have two weeks worth of clothes and then I have to do laundry. It fits perfectly in my shower stall or in the tiny hallway to my bed. I have a cover for it and my laundry basket fits on top.

It is a labor intensive way to do laundry, but if I have water and I am broke, it is a godsend.

Figured I'd revive this thread to mention that my setup with the panda spin dryer is still going well.

My current job, which I've been at for 6 months now, requires I wash all the cleaning rags. It assumes I have access to a washer/dryer. So I'm washing those on top of our regular laundry, and while it's not easy, my setup has made it doable.
