Dry ice causes almost instant frostbite to bare skin. it is not benign.
Kids eat Tide pods. Imagine what they might do with dry ice.
Like sticking your tongue to playground equipment.

No kids with us, and I'd keep it in its own container. Plus, it's been a really, really long time since I tried the tongue on cold metal thing. Healed up ages ago.

Speaking of the "safety" "guidelines" referring to what MN C was saying. One great person in history said something like " If you trade Liberty over security you will end up with neither" <--not exact quote.

Dry ice is also good at getting rid of warts by freeze burning them.
