They'll squeal on ya
But all of them is good eatin' to me ! Any of them come near my rig and they will end up on a plate. Then of course the hides..Bear skin rug, Coon skin cap, Pig hide leather mocassins, deer skin chair cover..oh the possibilities and resources. Plus no need to go chase/hunt/trap them. LOL
Going to do the passenger's window and have to do the Mr. Loo Reed thing to one, or both of the side doors- Screens really stifle air flow.
Was thinking velcro?????
Skeeters were horrible yesterday. Literally swarms- five biting each calf sorta bad

(I did trim it back some)
Maybe some small suction cups. Like the ones used to hang things like pictures, window decorations?
I have gotten that same fabric in bulk or by the linear foot at military surplus stores. Which are also a good place to pick up other survival/camping items. The biggest reason is that they are usually locally owned and operated instead of a "big box" store.
I sewed fabric around the edges of my screen. I put magnets in side the fabric. The magnets hold but there are gaps where skeeters come through because the magnets are too fat. I’m thinking about trying boat cover type snaps and magnets between... That type snap fasteners come with a screw with a snap head and another couple pieces that pound together for the fabric. I think for now it will be the small window and see how well it works.
Finished the Passenger's side screen today* and got a 2-4-1 deal on enough screen to do the sliders, and rear windows.
* problem is the magnetic strip. Peeled off the one I'd applied earlier, as it was too weak, and it bent when screen was stored, so it wouldn't lie flat on the door-causing gaps.
I think to close the bottom I'll just use the spray glue to put a few strong, round magnets across the bottom- if the strip magnet's not affixed, it lies more or less flat on it's own.
I'll post pics when the magnets are on and working so what I'm talking about makes sense.

I made some screens with covers. The screens are held in with magnets. The covers are attached at the top and can snap. Next time or I may pull out the magnets and get some boat cover type snaps - one end screws in.

I think the pic worked! Next time boat cover snaps...
These weren’t real easy to do and there was a big learning curve. The magnets were a B**** on the sewing machine. The magnets were from harbor freight. They stick out far enough to make a gap for bugs to sneak in. I think a combo of snaps and magnets. I may rip out the magnets if I can find boat cover type snaps for less than an arm and a leg. I like it that I can leave the flap open and get air and have privacy. I got a roll of fabric at goodwill for $12 and we redid a lot of the van interior. The shades are far from perfect.
