THEN IT WILL GET A GOOD CLEANING AND THE NEW AIR CONDITIONER INSTALLED IN THE SIDE OF IT.  ALL THE SYSTEMS ON THE EYELINER WILL BE CHECKED BEFORE WE TRAVEL WITH IT.   AT LEAST I HOPE WE GET TO TRAVEL WITH. I'VE BEEN PAYING ON IT PAYING ON IT FOR YEARS AND IT'S ONLY BEEN MOVED TWICE ONCE FROM MARIANNA FLORIDA UP TO ALABAMA AND THEN FROM STORAGE IN ALABAMA OVER TO THE RV PARK.

I STILL SERIOUSLY DOUBT THAT I'LL BE ABLE TO RAISE IT BY MYSELF.   RIGHT NOW THE SAFARI NEEDS MORE ATTENTION THAN THE EYELINER DOES. THE 25-YEAR-OLD CARPET DEFINITELY NEEDS TO COME OUT ESPECIALLY ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE. THE REAR SUSPENSION ON IT NEEDS TO BE BEEFED UP AND IT WOULD REALLY BE NICE IF MORE THAN ONE WINDOW IN THE FRONT OF IT ROLLED UP AND DOWN AND MORE THAN ONE DOOR COULD BE OPENED IN THE CAB OF IT.  I REPLACE THE BACK DOOR LOCK ALL THE LOCKING MECHANISM INSIDE THE DOOR AND HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO OPEN THEM FOR ABOUT A YEAR NOW. IT'S JUST ONE THING AFTER THE OTHER. IF ALL MY THINGS WERE FULLY OPERATIONAL AND I WAS ACTUALLY ABLE TO TAKE THE EYELINER AND GO SOMEWHERE I PROMISE SHOCK WOULD PROBABLY KILL ME AND I DIE OF A STROKE AND THERE WOULD BE RAT DOG AND QUEENIE I JUST WONDER WHICH ONE OF THEM THINKS THEY'RE BIG ENOUGH TO DRIVE THE DAMN SAFARI.

In the time it took me to drive the appx. 1 mile home from the store it came to me .
  WTF IS WRONG WITH ME!!!!!       { LET'S NOT START A LIST RIGHT NOW  }

I don't have to sit here and wait to be blown away.  Q and I can head north west for about 100 to 150 miles and get out of harms way.  I'll have to unload some stuff out of the van and I need to do it climbing from between the seats in the passenger area.   The first thing needs to be a big box that is about 8in taller than the seat and it's full too!.  I'm thinking I'll just rent a room somewhere and stay a night or two.  I'd stay in a truck stop except I know I can't get the van empty enough to be able to stay in it

Also I've been told that using the side slider door with the window shattered like it is could cause it to fall out with glass going into the door and might mess up the doors locking  and might even keep it from shutting and staying shut properly.

Can someone tell me in toddler talk how to access Wifi where/when it's available?  

My blood sugars were 101 when I started this post.  That is the level when I start getting shakey, panicky and aggresive.  Not the best time for me to make decisions.  I've eaten and will take my meds and lay down for a nap.

All my "Emergency" stuff is scattered about the Aliner, various storage units, and my apartment.  At least I know where my tent, generator, single burner propane stove , & Luci lights are.  At least I know where our food and my insulin is.

So I'm moving Queenie up to the "Big Bed" and hope I can get a few hours sleep.

When I paid my rent today I asked about the next inspection.........It's sometime this month.  I just flat told the manager that my unit would probably not pass and that I'm not going to make myself any sicker than I already am by trying to.  I also told her that I always passed the HUD inspections and that I don't need people in my home several times a year unless they were invited.  I said it nicely, barely.  She is new and seems to be nice so we'll just have to wait and see.

I think I need a Weather Radio since I don't have TV.  Damn when did I become so needy?   I DON'T LIKE IT AT ALL

 The weather Models, Euro(EWMCF) and GFS are in farily good agreement, which I find surprising, a week out, though the Euro has it making landfall in the OBX, turning and the pulling offshore the Delmarva and doing a Loop, while the GFS keeps it offshore, then doing a loop offshore the NE coast as an extremely large hurricane by the end of the model runs.

Should be noted that the Euro  model forecast Sandy's left turn into NJ 5 days before impact and 2.5 days before the other weather models agreed.

If I were on the east coast I'd be  greedily and selfishly eager for the swell event.

i used to chase tropical swells to the OBX and then northward, and if I were there now with sufficient funds, I would be making plans to do the same for this one.

San Diego was receiving some small tropical swell from Hurricane Olivia today, and yesterday there was also swell, which was unforecast but might have been a tropical pulse from hurricane Norman.  I love that Summer is over, both days i basically surfed alone and had a blast.

If Olivia had followed the intensity forecasts, there would have been little to no Swell reaching here.

Weather forecasting of tropical systems is still unreliable and more so than other storms.]]>
