Ok my bad,

It's the American cookie, that is used in the rum ball recipe preparation.

Also in OZ we call the American Biscuits "Scones" and they come in both savory and or sweet. The English wordings never cease to amaze me, We all speak it, yet it means something different depending on where you come from.

If I was a bettin' gal.. and I am....  I'd say a short bread type cookie would work swell!
Like.. a 'Lorna Dune' ??   ....yum
